The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is participating for the first time in the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) in Dubai to showcase the programmes it conducts for its employees and the hospitality industry in the emirate.
The 19th edition of the Middle East 's leading education exhibition opened at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre with over 500 exhibitors. The exhibition, offers a one-stop platform for education providers, vocational training programmes and didactic technology vendors to liaise and network with students, investors and professionals.
The DTCM Executive Director Human Resources, Mr. Ibrahim Yaqoot, said: “The department is utilizing its debut participation in the GETEX-2007 to highlight the SMART suggestion scheme, HAWAFIZ recognition scheme, IMTIAZ privileges and discounts packages and ADAAT E-diploma for its employees.”
Also being showcased are the Cambridge International Tourism Diploma and Training Solutions programmes for the emirate’s booming hospitality industry, he added.
The DTCM Human Resources Stand is located in the Zabeel Hall 1.
Organised by International Conferences & Exhibitions (IC&E), GETEX is held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Education and enjoys the support of Dubai Knowledge Village and the British Council in Dubai .
GETEX is divided in to three segments-Academic and Students Recruitment; Educational Technology; Corporate training.
