Dubai: Four people are set to enjoy a week of non-stop luxury in Dubai following an auction held at the Cannes Film Festival.

Hotel group Jumeirah donated the "Dubai Fantasy Vacation", which includes everything from a stay at the Burj Al Arab to a ride in a Rolls-Royce.

The amazing holiday was sold for $90,000 (about Dh330,475) in aid of Aids charity amfAR at a star-studded gala event. Among the big names at the auction were Kylie Minogue, George Clooney, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, Sharon Stone and Harvey Weinstein.

Hollywood superstar couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell took to the stage to auction the holiday for four, the bidding for which was won by American philanthropist Lee Anderson.

A spokesperson for the hotel group said: "Jumeirah is delighted to have supported amfAR in Cannes for the third year running."

The trip includes two nights in the Presidential Suite of the Burj Al Arab, four nights in a Malakiya Villa at the Madinat Jumeirah, plus airport transfers in a Rolls-Royce Phantom car.

And as if that was not enough, the lucky four will also be given use of the Burj Al Arab's private yacht, plus the use of a Lamborghini and an Aston Martin for a day.

On top of all these treats, they will also enjoy a helicopter tour from the Burj Al Arab helipad, a desert safari and Talise spa pampering treatments.

The auction where the holiday was sold, at well-known restaurant Le Moulin de Mougins on the outskirts of Cannes, raised a total of $7million (about Dh25.7 million) for amfAR.
