TAADD (UK & Ireland) pays particular attention to Ethical or Responsible Tourism to safe-guard the best interests of the public and the destination.
We understand that as a tourist the public wants to get the best possible returns for their investment at their destination. That is why TAADD (UK & Ireland) places great emphasis on the transfer of local knowledge about the destination, its culture and customs to member’s, who in turn provide it to the public. Armed with this knowledge the public are able to communicate appropriately at the destination ensuring maximum satisfaction.
As promoters for Dubai Destinations, it is in the best interests of TAADD (UK & Ireland) and its member’s to forge alliances with Dubai through mutual respect and understanding, and by working to sustain natural resources and infrastructure. In particular Dubai will undoubtedly be happier to accept and encourage more tourism via tourists who respect their land, culture and customs.
It is for these main reasons that TAADD (UK & Ireland) makes it compulsory for our member’s to recognize and implement the following basic concepts:
1. Respect for local religions, cultures and customs – through local knowledge transfer.
2. Respect for the environment and infrastructure.
3. Conservation of natural resources.
4. Benefit the destination economically.
